I had always thought, as a kid, that the Clone Wars would have been fought against the Clones when it was briefly mentioned by Obi-Wan and Luke in Kenobi’s hut in Episode III. There’s still a part of me that thinks this way, or that it should have been called “the Droid Wars”, “the Separatist Uprising” or something of a similar stripe. Am I wrong? It seems odd to me to name the war after your side than the enemies you fought against… |
