I'd like to think so, but after Starkiller Base and the Supremacy, I'm really hoping nobody sends the script-writers a link to the SSD Freudian Nightmare, so they don't get any ideas. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Oh man, I remember reading this a while back and I laughed my @$$ off. The Lampshade Hanging is strong with this one. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

I'd like to read that, but the print is so damn small on that image I've got a headache just looking at it. _________________ RR

Try this one.
There's no way to fit it into the Pit's image size restrictions and still make it readable, so I just Googled the image and posted the first one I found. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I am so totally not surprised at this reaction. Even if I were able, I wouldn't want to stat this monster either. The mind boggles at the prospect.
Then again, would this thing have any more logistics problems than, say, the first Death Star? This ship is about 250 miles long, right? That's about 2.5 times the diameter of the original Death Star (100 miles). So while it's longer than the Death Star, it doesn't look anywhere near as massive. If the Death Star(s) didn't (seem to) have any (insurmountable) logistics problems, would this ship (all joking aside) likely have to deal with similar problems if it's of a significantly smaller volume/mass than the Death Star? _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Now, replace the Death Star in that image with a Federation Core Ship, and I’d be more interested. There was mention in the ICS books that core ships could match up with other hulls apart from the Lucrehulk-class carriers, and this could be a decent Trade Fed / Separatist dreadnought. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. That sounds like a cool idea.
To be honest, the picture looks cool, without the caption to give us a sense of scale on the thing, the regular ISDs could just be triangle shaped fighters spilling out. _________________ RR

Ok, ok, I'll take a crack at it then.
hmmm...
are we thinking Death Star Scale is sufficient, or does this need a whole new class all for itself? _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

Honestly, WEG probably low-balled Death Star-Scale. Even with a +24D Scale Modifier, the only two Death Star-Scale stats in the RAW had Hulls of 15D and 18D, which total up to 39D and 42D Character-Scale, respectively. If the goal was to put stats in a manageable range (as though there would actually be combat at the Death Star-Scale anyway), Death Star-Scale should've been in the +36D Range, with the Hulls on the DSI and DSII downgraded to 3D and 6D respectively. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation.
