'Blaster Artillery Repair' as it mentioned she repaired some weapon emplacements and there was no appropriate D6 skill for that.

Conversions will continue on Monday (5th oct). Up coming characters are High Lady Brezwalt III, Brendak Starkiller, Cassus Fett, Demagol and others

After KOTOR characters are finished there will be Medstar: Battle Surgeons, then Legacy Era, an overlooked Last Jedi Character, and then a few randoms

If anyone wants or needs any stats for characters that aren't included in the upcoming conversions and haven't already been converted to D6 (and that
have D20/SAGA stats), just post in the thread and I'll see what I can do

I used to have the first two core rulebooks for WotC Star Wars but I ended up getting rid of them and only kept the Saga core. I've never ran any of the three editions and only played Saga for one adventure. For that we had a very good GM who focused on the roleplaying, and it was a very rules-light adventure. From looking through the rule books back when I had all three cores, I remember thinking that Saga was probably the best version of the three. It seemed a little less crunchy. I'm still not a fan of the game system at all, so it being the best is relative.

But I think you are speaking mainly from the perspective of Saga being more difficult to convert to D6, right? I have the the WotC 2e Ultimate Alien Anthology and I remember comparing some of the species special abilities to what is in Saga books and thinking, it was almost completely different for some species. But I'm no master of any of the editions so I can't really say which was better. I find conversion to be extremely annoying so I tend to just re-stat things instead of convert. I really began re-statting D6 stats since beginning of 2e whenever I felt changes were warranted, so doing it from other game systems is almost the same.

Yep, purely from Converting to D6, never played it as an RPG. I heard a lot of gamers say it's good play-wise though.

I just prefer D6 for its lack of levels, its flexability and the ease of creating NPC's on the fly. I use it for a bunch of non-Star Wars RPGs too

This is one of the reasons I made the rule that I won't convert anything that already has D6 stats available somewhere, that way I'm converting
new stuff and don't really get a lot of conflict. I did hit a really tricky problem involving the D6 Attribute Min/Max rating for a species recently and
their inability to accurately depict a character. When those stats get posted you'll see what I mean.

I used to hate conversions too, but last year I was ill and while I was getting treatment, I started looking at all the D20 stats I had
hoarded to convert at some point, so I started doing it, it helped keep my mind busy. Now I sort of find it therapeutic, this is basically
the reason this thread is called (D20) Conversion Therapy...that and because it's terrible play on words Smile

Resonant Bellow: The Ithorian ability to use their Resonant Bellow concussive shout offensively
Special Abilities:
Resonant Bellow: The Ithorians’ four throats have the ability to violently expel air, resulting in a deafening and potentially concussive shout.
This action may only be attempted a number of times per day equal to the number in front of the D in Strength. The bellow, if successful,
inflicts STR+1D deafening stun damage with a range of 1/2/3 meters in the direction the Ithorian is facing.
Story Factors:
Herd Ships: Many Ithorians come from herd ships. Which fly from planet trading goods. Any character from one of these worlds is likely to
meet someone that they have met before if adventuring in a civilised portion of the galaxy.

These characters couldn’t be converted using the D6 Attribute ranges for Ithorians, they are just too dumb and too physical, so I ignored
the species rules this one time to get these two to fit with the spirit of their SAGA stats and their writeups. They also have the Ithorian
‘War-Throat’ bellow, if you want to use these guys but don’t like this ability, just remove it from the character stats, it won’t affect their
useability.

The SAGA mechanics had one set of stats for both brothers, with just very minor skill differences, so I mostly replicated that here.

Ah the Boobie brothers. The kind of individuals you can kill and the law will judge the act justifiable homicide because the victims were a danger to everyone because of their incompetence.

Mira's stats - they're from when the Jedi Exile first meets her, right? By the end of the game, Mira becomes a Jedi, so shouldn't she be Force sensitive?

Well, not sure when these stats are supposed to be from exactly, but she didn't have Force Sensitive in Her SAGA stats. I'll go add it to the D6 stats anyway though.
