I'm sorry you're disappointed, but I'm not surprised by Paizo's actions.
They have a solid, time tested, and popular system on their hands. I never expected them to change anything other than mandatory IP sweeping. Pathfinder is essentially D&D 3.75, and took over the 3.5 market when 4 (and later 5th) came out. I don't expect them to throw all that away.

That is all quite rational. My issue was clearly wishful thinking, that the popular outrage against WotC at the time would lead to more drastic reactions against it. Since you never expected my pipe dream that I shared publicly, you could have burst my bubble my two years ago. I'd have the same disappointment but sooner, and this website could have had correct info posted on it about this issue sooner. _________________ *
